The substrate, which has undergone preparatory steps such as cleaning, priming, and painting, is submerged inthe water, allowing the printed film to adhere to its surface. A key step in this process is the application of an activator solution, which dissolves the film and enables the design to conform seamlessly to the contours of the object. The adhesion achieved in this process is the result of a chemical reaction between the activator and the base coat, which softens the surface and allows the ink to bond securely.
